1. Loveli Boutique Guesthouse
What a gem!! We were recommended here by friends and when you meet the owner, Andrew, you will understand why! He is SO helpful it’s crazy! Originally from Britain, Andrew moved to Thailand and opened this wonderful guesthouse and travel agency with his Thai partner. He knows everything – where to find the cheapest Chang beer, the best tailored suit, the best Pad Thai, Mai Thai – alles!
Their travel agency at the reception desk is great help for planning the rest of your trip. We booked our bus to Surat Thani and ferry to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan with them. We also booked our excursions here to Phi Phi Island, Simian Islands, Raya Bay and Maya Bay. At first we asked all the street vendors to see if we could find cheaper rates (like you normally can) but Andrew’s prices are very competitive.
Nanai Road, Patong, Phuket Province, Thailand
Theoretically, its just a 10 minute walk to central Patong, Bungala Road and Patong Beach. Realistically for us, it was at least 30 minutes each time as the walk passes the best shops, bars and food stores (we bought 4 bikinis and 2 vests just looking for the closest scooter hire).
We stayed in the Double Superior Room for 1225 Baht per room/ per night. It had free wifi, a double bed, ensuite with shower and amenities, towels, safe, balcony and air-conditioning. It was super clean and spacious. They clean your room daily. We have stayed here twice and were upgraded the second time.

2. Rayaburi Hotel
This hotel is 1 minute from Patong beach, the night markets, amazing shopping and the infamous Bungala Road. You couldn’t be closer to the action if you tried.
We were welcomed in with cocktails at the reception desk. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
You can also book your island excursions (such as Phi Phi & James Bond Island) with them.
The room had a double bed, ensuite, tv, safe, fridge, desk, towels and air-conditioning. It is very spacious and has daily cleaning – because who doesn’t like to get in to a professionally turned down bed.
Their is also a jacuzzi on the roof (how great?)!

2. Karon Accommodation
Karon Sunshine Guesthouse
Friendly is the perfect word to describe this guesthouse. It has such a great vibe, especially since the reception area is also the bar. A daily cocktail and catchup with the staff before you head out is a must!
The guesthouse is next door to all the food stores, bars and shopping spots in Karon. It is also 3 minutes away from Karon beach, which was the main reason why we stayed here. The beach is stunning! It is much less crowded compared to Patong beach next door and it has amazing sunsets views.
We stayed in the Standard Room and paid 1100 Baht per room/ per night. It had a double bed, tv, ensuite bathroom with a shower and air-conditioning. It is a very simple, clean and basic room.
