Casa Coron

This boutique hotel is located in the Centre of Coron Town – a perfect location.

It is right opposite the Eco Lodge, their sister company. Both hotels are great, but Casa Coron has bigger rooms, more modern facilities and is newly built. The resort is just down the road from the market which offers great street food and shopping opportunities. It is also just up the road from some great restaurants. We couldn’t have been happier with the location.

The hotel has a nice restaurant below at the reception desk (as shown in the picture above). You can also book all of your excursions / tours at the reception area as well as sup-boarding tours. We compared the prices of their excursions with at least 10 different companies/locals in town and they were pretty much the same! So we would recommend booking through the hotel as it includes a free shuttle down to and from the port.

The Room

December 2015/ January 2016: We stayed on the third floor and paid 1898 Pesos per night, which included breakfast. It has a double bed and a single bed which was great for our bags. It also has an ensuite bathroom with hot shower, cupboards, air-conditioning, TV, free wifi and daily room cleaning. The room is very clean and comfortable! Being on the top floor, the wifi didn’t always connect so we often sat in the restaurant below to go online. If wifi is important to you then try book a bottom room!

Spending whole days out on a boat exploring the islands and lagoons is really the most AMAZING but also tiring experience – so coming home to a clean, air-conditioned room was everything!
